Morning: Depart for Hanoi. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, a car and a tour guide will welcome and transfer group to Hanoi city center for visiting the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), dedicated to the great Chinese scholar Confucius, was founded in 1070 as the first university of Viet Nam to educate Viet Nam's administrative and warriors class. Have lunch.

Afternoon: Group visit Returned-Sword Lake - a beautiful basket of flowers at the heart of Ha Noi, a mirror-like green lake, Ngoc Son Temple, place for worshipping Tran Hung Dao (1226-1300), a Vietnamese general, scholar and master of the martial arts. Under his command, Dai Viet (currently Vietnam) armies defeated 2 major Mongolian Invasions in 1285 and 1287. Group is free to go shopping in old street area - Old Quarter, a maze of streets dating back to the 13th century, crowded with variety of beautiful narrow streets with a lot of Food stalls, souvenir shops, a location of many historical buildings not only of French style but also of traditional style of Ha Noi in the early on 20th century. Have dinner at restaurant.

Evening: After dinner, group enjoy water puppet show – a very special show found only in Viet Nam - a series of “ancient” short stories and legends presented through the use of traditional music, song, and characters. The stage is actually a large container of water where the characters (carved wooden puppets} “act” out the story. The music is live, performed by a group of musicians that share a side stage adjacent to the water stage. After that, the car will transfer group back to hotel for relax.


Morning: Have breakfast at hotel. After that, the car will transfer group towards to Son Tay town (about 60km from Hanoi). Car transfers group to Duong Lam village. Tourists can also see ancient houses and small lanes as well as study the everyday life of residents. One special thing about the village is that most of the buildings here are made of laterite and mud, two materials that are abundant in the area. Laterite is used on house walls, gates, wells, temple walls, and so forth. The mud is taken from ponds. Apart from its historical and tourism values, Duong Lam Ancient Village is an important place for scientists to study resident communities in ancient agriculture. Visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Having some talks with the locals in their ancient houses by visiting the ancient houses of Mr Lam, Mr Ha and Mr Huyen. Have lunch served right at the oldest house in one ancient house with local specialities.

Afternoon: Group continues driving to visit Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15 th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities, then visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple. After resting, car transfer group back to Hanoi. Have dinner at restaurant before transfer back to hotel for relax.


Morning: After breakfast at hotel, take Hanoi city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the large memorial in Hanoi capital built to show Vietnamese people's deep gratitude to the Leader. It was constructed during 1973-1975 in the center of Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh read the Proclamation of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in 1945.

Visit Presidential Palace, a memento of French contribution to the architectural splendor in Indochina. The palace was built by the French colonialists during 1901-1906, as a palace of the General Indochina Governor. Since 1954, the Vietnamese Government took over this Palace to house the President. It has a special typical French structure and architecture.

Visit President Ho Chi Minh Stilt House where Ho Chi Minh live from 1958 to 1969. The house is an interpretation of a traditional rural dwelling, and has been preserved since 1969.

Visit One-pillar pagoda Mot-Cot pagoda – a artistical architecture of 11th century with the shape like a lotus flower, has been recognized as the building having the most unique architecture by the Asian Records Organization. Group have lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon: group visit Military history museum & Flag tower, constructed at the end of 1954, collected, stored and displayed 150,000 artifacts, collections of valuable historical, cultural, scientific precious objects reflecting the military guidelines in many wars from time to time. Inside the Military History Museum, there is the Flag Tower of Hanoi with 200 years old.

Group visit Thang Long Royal Citadel, recognized as UNESCO heritage in 2010, the political centre of Vietnam for almost 13 centuries without interruption and visit the D67 underground shelter of the governing Communist council during Vietnamese-American War. Have dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast at hotel. Group is free at leisure until transfer to Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport for departure.
