HANOI - SAPA – FANSIPAN

DAY 1 HANOI ARRIVAL & CITY TOUR (L/D)
Morning: Depart for Hanoi. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, a car and a tour guide will welcome and transfer group to Hanoi city center for visiting the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu), dedicated to the great Chinese scholar Confucius, was founded in 1070 as the first university of Viet Nam to educate Viet Nam's administrative and warriors class. Have lunch.
Afternoon: Group visit Returned-Sword Lake - a beautiful basket of flowers at the heart of Ha Noi, a mirror-like green lake, Ngoc Son Temple, place for worshipping Tran Hung Dao (1226-1300), a Vietnamese general, scholar and master of the martial arts. Under his command, Dai Viet (currently Vietnam) armies defeated 2 major Mongolian Invasions in 1285 and 1287.
Group is free to go shopping in old street area - Old Quarter, a maze of streets dating back to the 13th century, crowded with variety of beautiful narrow streets with a lot of Food stalls, souvenir shops, a location of many historical buildings not only of French style but also of traditional style of Ha Noi in the early on 20th century. Have dinner at restaurant.
Evening: After dinner, group enjoy water puppet show – a very special show found only in Viet Nam - a series of “ancient” short stories and legends presented through the use of traditional music, song, and characters. The stage is actually a large container of water where the characters (carved wooden puppets} “act” out the story. The music is live, performed by a group of musicians that share a side stage adjacent to the water stage. After that, the car will transfer group back to hotel for relax.
DAY 2 HA NOI – LAO CAI (B/L/D)
6.30 – 7.00: After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and depart for Sapa Town, using the new highway running from Noi Bai - Lao Cai (245Km) in about 5 hours. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery on the both sides of this road.
12:00: Arrival Sa Pa, enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
13:00 pm: Car will take visitors to start their walking journey of about 4 hours to visit Lao Chai - Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai, and explore the life of ethnic minorities, admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields. Visit Sa Pa’s ancient rock with engraved images, both big and small - unique patterns of the ancients. Admire the Bridge which is made by clouds, cross the picturesque Muong Hoa stream. Stay and overnight at Giang Ta Chai Village.
DAY 3 SAPA- PARK RANGERS STATION (L, D)
We begin this tour at a practical time of 9.00am. After meeting both your guide and driver, we are transferred by car, a short distance of 15km to begin the start of the climb to Fansipan Mountain. We start the climb at the Park Rangers’ Station at a height of 2,000m. Throughout this climb, we can observe and learn about the local cardamom plants, and the uses they have for this local area. Local birds can also be seen throughout this walk, with seasons varying, and the time of year you visit. As we trek up to the height of 2,200m, we relax with a picnic lunch.
We then keep on trekking up to the height of 2,800m, taking in the spectacular views along the way. After setting up camp for the night, dinner is cooked on the campfire. Ready to unwind from the day, you will find yourself sleeping soundly, while nestled in amongst the rugged beauty of the mountains.
DAY 4 TOP OF FANSIPAN (B, L)
With an early rise of 6.30-7.00am, we have breakfast together before we undertake the final ascent to the very top of Fansipan Mountain. Around 10.00-10.30am, we can celebrate the victorious achievement as we arrive at the very top, 3,143m above sea level. Take some time out, as you absorb the combination of the fresh crisp air, and beautiful views while overlooking Sapa town, admiring its thick green forestry landscape. After enjoying the remarkable views, we commence the descent to 2,800m and enjoy a picnic lunch around 1.30pm. Feeling revitalised after the break, we trek back down to Tram Ton Pass at 2,000m, where our driver awaits and we are transferred back to Sapa Town.
DAY 5 SAPA - HA NOI – HO CHI MINH CITY (B,L)
After breakfast, the driver takes you back to Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport for the flight come back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Please Note: Sapa is known to be an area consisting of four seasons in one day, therefore the weather can change quite rapidly, altering from heavy mist and fog to warm sunny days. Hence, we cannot guarantee clear views from the top of this mountain.
